Death of Heston Pulls Ewing Oil Closer

The death of actor Charlton Heston, 84, has given Ewing Oil some much needed momentum heading into the second quarter of the season. His death from Alzheimer-related illness on April 5 has cut Sweet Valley Death's lead to 62-43.

Heston's death is also a historic one for Our Sick Game. Heston is one of the game's founding fathers, an original member of the 2005 Ewing Oil championship team. He is also the first keeper from either roster to die since Don Knotts in February 2006.

"What can you say about a Chuck Heston," said a spokesperson for Ewing Oil. "He's done everything we've asked him to do and been a valuable member of our squad. Now that he's gone, we'll have an extra keeper slot available in December that will come in very handy."
