Our Sick Game MVP Announced

In a unanimous vote and an Our Sick Game first, the MVP award will be shared by two players for 2009: Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Fawcett's death gave Ewing Oil a lead in the game it would not relinquish, and Michael Jackson's death just a short time later put the game out of reach.

"We recognize that it was Farrah who gave Ewing Oil the lead for good, but Jackson's death also had a significant and dramatic impact on the game," said a spokesperson for the league. "Let's not forget that his death allowed Ewing Oil to collect a hat trick for the month of June, as well. Make no mistake, their deaths changed the game in 2009 and allowed Ewing Oil to roll on to victory."

Fawcett and Jackson now take their place among the illustrious list of prior league MVP's:

2009 - Farrah Fawcett/Michael Jackson
2008 - Tony Snow
2007 - Anna Nicole Smith
2006 - Fidel Castro
2005 - Peter Jennings
