EVEL DEAD; Knievel Gone at 69
In what may prove to be the dagger into Ewing Oil's hopes of victory this season, Sweet Valley Death has tapped daredevil Evel Knievel to perform his most important stunt yet: dying. Knievel died today at the age of 69, earning for S.V.D. 31 insurance points to increase its lead over Ewing Oil to 206-134."I don't know how you can come back from something like this," said a spokesperson for Ewing Oil. "You just can't give up 31 points and expect to win. We need our folks to step up big time."
