Clarke Dead; Ewing Oil Grateful
Arthur C. Clarke, best known for writing "2001: A Space Odyssey," has died at the age of 90. He becomes the second casualty this season for Ewing Oil, which now trails Sweet Valley Death by a score of 62-27. A stunned spokesperson for Ewing Oil received a text message late last evening informing him of Clarke's death.
"It's obviously great news, and we haven't had anyone go in a while now," the spokesperson said. "It was out pleasure taking Clarke away from Sweet Valley Death when we did and we thoroughly enjoyed his brief time here with us. He will be missed."
