Don't Forget the Moneyballs

The start of the 2011 season of Our Sick Game can only mean one thing: the long-awaited announcement of Moneyball selections.

Sweet Valley Death has selected Michael Douglas (66) as their Moneyball for 2011. M-Doug would earn SVD a tidy 68 points upon his death. For their Moneyball selection, Ewing Oil has chosen their first pick of the draft, author Christopher Hitchens (61). His death would earn Ewing Oil 78 big points.

Good luck to Sweet Valley Death, Michael Douglas, Ewing Oil, and Christopher Hitchens in the upcoming season.

Survivor Series 2011 Picks

A huge fan favorite of Our Sick Game is the Survivor Series. Each team selects 15 players from the other team's roster who they believe will not die in 2011. If each of the selected players remains alive at the end of 1, 15 points will be awarded to the lucky team. No partial credit will be awarded. Mediocrity is frowned upon, not rewarded, here at Our Sick Game.

Scoring Updates

In a big development, two deaths that have gone unreported so far are about to be added to the game. SVD agreed to waive the 90-day reporting deadline, which allows Ewing Oil to claim the death of Richard Hayward, their 4th pick in the draft. Hayward, 64, was a drummer and founding member of the band Little Feat.
SVD also gets a claim, adding the death of Tony Curtis, 85, in September.
With the addition of 36 points and 15 points respectively, the score now becomes 154-151 in favor of Ewing Oil with less than a month remaining in the game.
